Domenic S. Capachione of East Bridgewater formerly of Brockton died peacefully on February 9, 2016 at at the age of 83. He was the son of the late Lillian (Perito) Capachione and the late Joseph Capachione. Domenic was born and raised in Brockton, graduated class of 1950 and attended Bentley College before entering the United States Marine Corps. where he proudly served his country. His wife and children were the love of his life. Whatever it was that his children loved, is what he loved. He was a true family man in every sense of the word. He touched the lives of so many by teaching us all that laughter, love and quick wit is and always will be the best medicine. He enjoyed frequent European travel with his wife Anna and children. Domenic was an avid football fan. He played football for the U. S. Marine Corps., hosted Sunday family football parties, His favorite team was the East Bridgewater Vikings where he proudly supported his sons and grandsons on the field.
Beloved husband of 59 years to Anna I. (D'Arpino) Capachione of East Bridgewater, formerly of Whitman, Devoted father of eight children who fondly remember him as the King of the balancing angels, the best kitchen foot dancer ever and the great “Woombumba”…. Robert Capachione and wife Kathleen, Teresa Capachione, Natalie Anderson and husband Robert, Nadina Wilk and husband Jeff, Kathleen Lloyd and husband Andy, Tina Marchant and husband Kevin, John Capachione and wife Lisa and Lucia Ferguson and husband Chris. Brother of the late Pat Capachione and the late Joseph Capachione, both of Brockton. He is also the loving and inspirational “Papa” to 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Jill, Brian, Kristen, Allison, Cheralyn, Kendra, Matthew, Dan, Justine, Michael, Amanda, Justin, Dayna, Erik, Gus, Annabella, Gianna, Domenic, Lucas, Nicholas, Paige, Peyton, Dakota, Sophie, Dean, Mia, Giuliana, and baby Domenic.
