Saul C. Adamsky, 78, of East Falmouth passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his home. He was born in Boston to Jacob and Martha (Goldman) Adamsky. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Judith (Karp) Adamsky in 2012.
Saul earned his Master’s degree and worked 40 years as an educator and department head at the Cambridge Ridge and Latin High School. He was an instructor in Life Long Program at Cape Cod Community College. He was a founding member and officer of the Brotherhood of the Falmouth Jewish Congregation for which he was a member for many years. He was a former member of Temple Emunah, Lexington and Beth El Temple Centre, Belmont. He was also a member and former Captain of the Lexington Minuteman. Saul loved to travel, had a great interest in history and especially loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Mark and his wife Angela of Needham, Joan and her husband Andy of Acton, Robert and his wife Anne of Andover; and Lynn of Marblehead; his sister Fran of Brookline and his 8 grandchildren.
A funeral service is being held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 23 at the Falmouth Jewish Congregation, 7 Hatchville Rd, Falmouth followed by burial. Shiva will be held at Saul’s residence immediately following the funeral; Minyan at 7:00 PM.
