From the Yarmouth Division of Natural Resources:

***WATER CAUTION***

Portuguese Man Of War jelly fish have been found washed up on a couple beaches here in Yarmouth Ma. Please use common sense and appropriate caution while enjoying the beach.

- A Portuguese Man-of-War should never be touched!
- Best way to avoid stings is not to touch the tentacles
- A Portuguese Man-of-War cannot swim; its movements depend on wind speed, direction and water currents.
- If you see one notify a lifeguard immediately and stay away from the area.
