Wareham DNR Advisory Regarding Hurricane Jose

A good time to haul your boat...

A timely word from the Wareham Department of Natural Resources:

Erring on the side of caution we are asking boaters to keep a close eye on Jose and to start planning for some severe weather going into Tuesday and Wednesday.

We recommend utilizing this weekend to haul your boat if you are no longer using it for the season or if it's easily trailerable to do the same. It can always go back in after the threat has cleared.

Should the pattern stay the same and we are directly impacted, a haul out plan will be put into place 36 hours prior to the storm at our municipal boat ramps to expedite haul out.
