Letter: Criticism of Crime Reform Bill as Cop is Killed by Career Criminal

from Don C. Hayward of Bourne

The irony of the Democrat Governor of MA clothed in the Republican label of political identification, signing more leniency for criminals into law as another police officer is killed by a career criminal walking the streets is predictable in this Commonwealth of judiciary malfeasance.

After all we are the state that allows convicted felons to become State Police officers.

What Baker should have been signing was a re-instatement of the death penalty for cop killers rather than another socially engineered bill that makes liberal elitist feel better about themselves and stoke the “feeling” of superiority of intellect.

Governor Baker is, and has been, in the wrong  political identification category along with Bill Weld and other political frauds.
