The following road work notices were posted today by the Barnstable DPW:
BARNSTABLE: BRENTWOOD LANE
CENTERVILLE: BAYBERRY LANE
CROSBY CIRCLE
GLENWOOD AVEUNE
HIGHLAND STREET
The Department of Public Works will be performing roadway improvements on Brentwood Lane in Barnstable and Bayberry Lane, Crosby Circle, Glenwood Avenue and Highland Street in Centerville beginning on Monday, April 23, 2018. Improvements include clearing back of brush, adjusting drainage structure castings, sweeping the existing pavement and overlaying new asphalt pavement road surfaces. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 18, 2018, weather permitting.
Vehicle access during construction operations will be restricted to one lane. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the construction work.
Operations will start promptly at 7 AM and run until 5 PM, after which time traffic will be opened back onto both lanes of these roadways.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas and follow posted safety signs.
ANCHOR LANE, MARINER CIRCLE & MOORING DRIVE, COTUIT
The Department of Public Works will be performing roadway improvements on Anchor Lane, Mariner Circle and Mooring Drive in Cotuit beginning on Monday, April 23, 2018. Improvements include road reclamation, fine grading and compacting, drainage structure adjustments and new asphalt pavement road surfaces. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 18, 2018, weather permitting.
Vehicle access during construction operations will be restricted to one lane. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the construction work.
