Beaty Pledges Support for National School Shield Program

Barnstable County Commissioner and primary candidate for the Fifth Barnstable District State Rep seat Ron Beaty has pledged his support for the National School Shield program.  The program was established in 2012 by the National Rifle Association to promote school safety.  NRA's video describing the program appears below.

In a Facebook post Saturday morning, Beaty states: "I'm the only Massachusetts 5th Barnstable District State Rep. Candidate with a solid and realitisic approach to the issue of school safety - Fully adopt the NATIONAL SCHOOL SHIELD PROGRAM.
