From the Massachusetts Republican Assembly (Verbatim):

The Massachusetts Republican Assembly (The Assembly) is proud to endorse Ronald (Ron) Beaty, who is running for State Representative in 5fth Barnstable District.

The Assembly stands strongly for a Judeo-Christian foundation for our unalienable rights, including the sanctity of human life, natural marriage, 2nd Amendment rights, restitution for the victims of crimes, self-government, decentralized and limited government, limited taxation and free enterprise, and education that emphasizes choice, competition, and parental rights.
Based on our analysis of Ron’s answers to our extensive Candidates’ Questionnaire, we have determined that Ron Beaty holds views and positions consistent with the Assembly’s values and principles.

Beaty is currently a Barnstable County Commissioner. His include mitigating traffic going to from Cape Cod by expanding the capacity of both bridges. He would sponsor a Term-limits Amendment to the State Constitution. He also supports the passage of a State Voter-ID Law and legislation that would penalize Sanctuary Cities.

The Assembly strongly believes we need more Republicans on Beacon that are willing to fight for Conservative Principles, rather than caving to the Democrat super-majority. We need bold leadership, not token and timid opposition. Ron Beaty is can and will provide that leadership.

Therefore, The Massachusetts Republican Assembly urges  voters in the 5th Barnstable District to go to vote for Ronald Beaty for State Representative in the September 4th Republican Primary. welcomes thoughtful comments and the varied opinions of our readers.
