Lt. Governor to Visit Cape Cod Thursday...

Three separate events in Yarmouth and Brewster...
Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito

BOSTON – Tomorrow, Lt. Governor Karyn Polito will join local advocates and Yarmouth community members for a discussion about sexual violence prevention.

Following the discussion, the Lt. Governor will join Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod to celebrate the installation of 6 solar-energy systems at low income households in Brewster, funded by a $250,000 grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.

Later, Lt. Governor Polito will join Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Commissioner Leo Roy to announce four DCR Recreational Trail Program grants. These grants, benefitting Brewster, Chatham, Sandwich and Dennis, will provide the Cape Cod community with additional recreational opportunities.
