Two police officers and a suspect were shot this afternoon in Falmouth. Reports indicate that the incident happened in the vicinity of Route 28 and Seacoast Shores.
District Attorney Michael O'Keefe is reported as stating both officers are expected to survive.
DA O'Keefe reported that one officer was shot twice in the vest and once above his vest. That officer is hospitalized and being monitored. He is reported to be conscious and talking to family members.
The second officer was reportedly grazed in the head and has been treated and released.
The suspect was reported to have been shot several times. Mr. O'Keefe said there was a question whether the suspect would need to be MedFlighted to a Boston hospital.
No further information has been released at this time. This is a developing story.

Watch NBC 10 Boston Coverage - NBC Boston is reporting that the suspect has been medflighted to Brigham and Women's Hospital. NBC-10 reports that the police department responded to a call for a disturbance at #2 Ashley Drive at 5:25 p.m. Friday. When the suspect was confronted by officers, he became agitated and pulled a weapon, according to Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe.

Massachusetts State Police patrol, tactical, investigative and forensic units are responding to Falmouth to assist local police in the response to the shooting of two Falmouth Police Department officers.
Both officers are being transported to hospitals.
A suspect was also shot in the incident and is also being transported.
