Yarmouth Traffic Stop Yields Two Arrests, Driver Has 290 Priors

MOTOR VEHICLE STOP RESULTS IN TWO UNDER ARREST. DRIVER WITH 290 PRIOR CRIMINAL CHARGES

On Friday, August 3, 2018 at 1:00AM, Midnight shift Patrol Officers led by Patrol Officer Christopher Eccleston stopped a motor vehicle on Willow Street.

The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license and a passenger was arrested for having an outstanding warrant.

Both were processed at Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters.

The driver, with 290 prior criminal charges in Massachusetts, was released on bail by the Bail Commissioner.

The passenger was held overnight due to the default warrant and brought to court in custody by YPD this AM.

Both are scheduled for arraignment in the Barnstable District Court today.
