Wareham DNR: Algae Bloom on Glen Charlie Pond

Please keep pets and humans out of the pond for now...

From the Wareham Department of Natural Resources:

Wareham Board of Health was notified of an algae bloom that occurred on Glen Charlie Road. At this point we do not know if this is a harmful algae bloom. Laboratory analysis will determine if in fact this is harmful. At this point we recommend people and pets to stay out of water until the Massachusetts Department of Public Health notified.”
