From the Harwich Police Department:

The Harwich Police Department participated in the annual “Back to School Shop With a Cop” program today. Police officers from across Cape Cod gathered to host students for a day of lunch and shopping. Each student also received a backpack filled with school supplies.

Through this program, students not only get the supplies they need, but also have the opportunity to spend the day with police officers.

Building trust and strong community partnerships between students, their families and police officers is our goal in helping to empower students to succeed in school and develop good decision making skills.

We would like to thank the community and Harwich Police Association for their generous donations in helping to support this wonderful program.
