NWS: Possibly Two Rounds of Thunderstorms Wednesday

Some storms could be severe...

From the National Weather Service:

* Potential for Two Rounds of Severe Thunderstorms Wednesday *

If you're enjoying this cooler weather, you'll get another day of partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs in the 70s on Tuesday.

Tropical humidity returns briefly Wednesday with showers and thunderstorms. It looks like we'll see two rounds of activity, one early in the morning and another in the afternoon and evening. Here is the breakdown:

Wednesday AM (4-10 AM): Heavy rain and localized wind damage, possibly a short-lived tornado. Heavy rain should have an impact on the morning commute with low visibility and street flooding.

Wednesday PM (1-8 PM): Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Potential for damaging winds.

High pressure then builds into the Northeast through next weekend, resulting in sunshine and low humidity with highs in the 70s and lower 80s each day.
