House Fire in Yarmouth

Family cat revived with oxygen, no human injuries...

The Yarmouth Fire Department resonded to a 911 call for a house fire at 70 Camp Street in West Yarmouth around 5:20 a.m. Saturday.

Heavy fire was discovered upon arrival.  The bulk of the fire was knocked down by the first Yarmouth Fire Department engine on the scene.  Hyannis Fire Department crews arrived to assist Yarmouth firefighters.  

The home suffered major damage, especially to the front of the structure.  A family cat was revived with oxygen.  No human injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
