Teenage Girl Hit by Car in Falmouth

A MedFlight helicopter was requested after a teenaged girl was struck by a vehicle in Falmouth this evening.  At approximately 7 p.m. Falmouth Police and Falmouth Fire/Rescue were called to the intersection of Gifford Street and Ambers Avenue where the young lady was struck.

The victim reportedly suffered head and leg injuries.  A MedFlight chopper was called to Famouth Hospital to transfer the girl to a trauma center.
