Hyannis – Registration is now open for The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod’s 8th Annual Positively Different Soccer Clinic, led by female soccer great Kristine Lilly.  The clinic will take place on Sunday, September 30 at 10 AM at Barnstable High School for the first 120 kids who register.

Widely regarded as one of the most accomplished female soccer players of all-time, Lilly is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, an Olympic Silver Medalist, a two-time World Cup Champion, the third all-time leading scorer in U.S. history with 130 goals, and a former Captain of the Boston Breakers.  A native of Wilton, Connecticut, she was a member of the U.S. National Team for twenty-four years and is considered a legendary figure in women’s soccer.

Assisting Lilly in running the clinic will be members of the Barnstable High School Girls Varsity soccer team.

Kids aged six to fourteen years-old can score a spot by registering online at mycapecodbank.com.  The two-hour clinic will include interactive drills and games, suitable for all skill levels.  It will be followed by a Q&A and the chance to get autographs and photos with Lilly.  All participants are required to wear cleats, shin guards and proper soccer attire, and bring their own ball.  All pre-registered participants will also receive a free Positively Different Soccer Clinic T-Shirt and refreshments.
