Statement from District Attorney Michael O'Keefe (verbatim)

District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced today that Thomas Latanowich (DOB 7-14-88) was arraigned today in Barnstable Superior Court on the following charges in connection with the death of Sergeant Sean Gannon:

1. Murder G.L.c.265 §1
2. Aggravated A& B with a Dangerous Weapon G.L. c.265 §15A (c) (i)
3. Assault and Battery Dangerous Weapon G.L.c.265 §15A (b)
4. Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony G.L.c.265 §18B
5. Possession of a Firearm without a license, Subsequent offense G.L.c.269 §10(h)
6. Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a license G.L.c.269 §10 (a) &(n)
7. Possession of Ammunition without an FID card G.L.c.269 §10 (h)
8. Mistreating a Police Dog G.L.c.272 §77A
9. Armed Career Criminal G.L.c.269 §10G (c)

Latanowich was ordered held without bail. He is scheduled to return to court 11/30/18 for a pre-trial conference.
