South Yarmouth Library seeks cookie stroll contributors

Bass River homeowners wanted for popular December fundraiser

The South Yarmouth Library Association is seeking homeowners interested in participating in their annual fundraiser, the Bass River Cookie Stroll.

Although stroll day, Saturday, December 13, 2014 is some time away, the association is currently in the planning stages.

Six Bass River homeowners are signed up to be cookie stops and four more are needed.

The 2014 Bass River Cookie Stroll will be the library's 9th. Tickets ($15, on sale in November) entitle participants to one special cookie at each of the homes on the stroll. The ticket is actually a booklet containing recipes for each of the signature cookies and descriptions of each of the homes on the stroll.

Proceeds from the stroll benefit the South Yarmouth Library, 312 Old Main Street, South Yarmouth.
