Town of Yarmouth now offers online permitting

Businesses and individuals may access permitting portal even when the town offices are closed

Yarmouth recently made doing business with the town a bit easier. At the beginning of the month, the town introduced online permitting.  Yarmouth residents, visitors, business owners and those doing business in town may now apply for permits via the town's website.

"We are fulfilling our promise to deliver powerful e-government services and provide valuable information about the community while making your interactions with us more efficient, convenient and interactive," a notice on the site reads.

Members of the community are encouraged to create a user account in order to access features through the town's portal partner Accela, Inc. By registering, users will have access to all available online services. Anonymous users will be able to access limited services, according to the website.

Through the new portal, users will be able to search records and apply for a variety of licenses and permits anytime--even when the town offices are closed.
