Yarmouth libraries forgive fines for food in February

Trade overdue books for food pantry donations

During February, Yarmouth library patrons can swap their overdue books for food pantry donations. From Saturday, February 7 through Saturday, February 21, the library will forgive fines for donations.

Anyone with overdue books is asked to bring them to the library during the week along with a food or paper goods donation for the Yarmouth Food Pantry. For donation suggestions, drop by the library or contact the food pantry.

The fine forgiveness applies to overdue books only and does not apply to borrowed materials that may have been lost.

The Town of Yarmouth operates two libraries, the South Yarmouth Library at 312 Old Main Street in South Yarmouth and the West Yarmouth Library at 391 Route 28 in West Yarmouth.
