David Allan Livingstone of Marstons Mills MA, most recently a resident at Haverhill Crossings in Haverhill MA, and formerly of Wallingford, CT died Sunday, Sept 27 during the full moon eclipse. He was the husband of 62 years to the late Evelyn Howes Livingstone who passed June 30, 2014.
Born Feb 22, 1928, Boston, MA to Helen (Chalmers) and David Samuel Livingstone, both Scottish immigrants. As a boy he loved singing in the choir at Emmanuel Church Boston. A graduate of Arlington High School, he was a member of the National Guard for 14 Years both in MA and CT. Lyn and Dave married in Boston in 1952. Moving to CT he worked for the Edward Malley Co, Prudential Insurance, Vienna Baking Co and finally Lupi Marchigiano Baking Co. Dave and Lyn were residents of Wallingford for 44 years and retired to Marstons Mills in 2002.
David is survived by a son, David S Livingstone of Vassalboro, ME, a daughter, Brenda Salisbury and her husband Robert of Barrington, NH. Grandchildren Abel Livingstone and his wife Jennifer of Hampstead NH, Micah Livingstone of Albion ME, Jana and Kelcie Salisbury of Barrington, NH. He was proud to have four great grandchildren Sawyer, Anna, Charlotte and Elsie. He also leaves 2 nephews and a niece. He was predeceased by his brother James R. Livingstone in 2006.
A graveside service will be held at 12PM on Thursday, October 1, at Marstons Mills Cemetery, Marstons Mills MA.
