Eleanor (Donnelly) RzeznikiewiczHyannis - Eleanor (Eley) Rzeznikiewicz, 71, of Hyannis, formerly of Cherry Valley, passed away Wednesday March 30, 2016 at home surrounded by family after a brief illness.She leaves her three daughters Kris Rzeznikiewicz of Worcester, Eren Malpass her husband Brian & daughter Ireland of Auburn and Collen Rzeznikiewicz & her son Jedrek of Hyannis; a sister Alyce Giaquinto of Worcester and brother James Donnelly of Florida. She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years Jacek Rzeznikiewicz and her brother Richard Donnelly.Eley was born and raised in Worcester the daughter of John and Eve (Zevaski) Donnelly. She graduated from St Peter's Central Catholic High School in 1962 and attended Quinsigamond Community College. She worked many years for Guaranty Bank & Trust and Daka Food Service at WPI in Worcester before retiring to the Cape where she worked at Ways Center News, the JFK Museum and most recently Kohl's in Hyannis. She enjoyed gardening, travelling and spending time with friends. What she loved most was being with her family. Eley was the world's greatest Irish Babcia to her two grandchildren. She was a long time member of the Sons of Erin Cape Cod.Services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 with calling hours from 8:30am to 9:30am at Doane Beal & Ames, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis followed by a 10am Mass at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
