Frank J. Pacitto, 89, of Mashpee, formerly of Boston and Milford, passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2016. Frank served in the United States Army/Airforce during WWII. He was president of the Bakery and Confectionery Workers Union AFL-CIO Local 348 for four years, before retiring as their Union Business Agent. Frank also served 10 years, as an executive board member, as well as a member of the Greater Boston Labor Council. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed boating and following the stock market. Most of all he loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and favorite dog Toto, and will be missed by all who loved him.
Frank is survived by 4 daughters, Diane Pacitto of Boston, Susan Pacitto of Hyannis, Carol Sabatinelli of Mashpee, Lynne Moore of Mashpee, 2 brothers Dominic Pacitto and wife Elvira of South Yarmouth, John Pacitto and wife Jane of Norton, 3 sisters Eleanor Weisse of Burlington, Mary Foody of Natick, Amelia Harrington of Burlington, 3 grandchildren Jules and Gioia Sabatinelli and Ariane Gabrielson, a great grandchild Bradley Sabatinelli, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings Pasquale and Anthony Pacitto.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Jude’s Chapel in Christ the King Church 3 Job’s Fishing Rd. Mashpee on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Great Neck Woods Cemetery in Mashpee.
