Joseph F. Hall, 65, of Plymouth, died Jan. 11, 2016 at the McCarthy Care Center, Sandwich. He was the husband of Simone D. (Fleury) Hall and the son of Helen (Supitkowsky) Plyler and the late Bernard V. Hall.
He was born in Charleston, WV and lived in Plymouth for over 30 years.
He graduated from Abington High School and attended Boston College.
Mr. Hall worked as a Conductor for Amtrak on the Boston to New York Rail for many years.
He was a member of the Wareham Lodge of Elks and the Screen Actors Guild. He appeared in several films including Ted, Ted 2, The Judge, and Mall Cop.
Survivors include his wife, Simone D. (Fleury); his mother, Helen Plyler and her husband Curtis of Plymouth; a daughter, Cheryl Hall of Plymouth; 4 brothers, William Cox and his wife Janice of Abington, Bernard Hall and his wife Debbie of West Bridgewater, Robert Hall and his wife Kim, Thomas Hall and his wife Cindy all of Abington; several nephews and nieces.
His funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 in St. Margaret’s Church, 141 Main St., Buzzards Bay. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rockland.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
