Karen Reaman, 73, of Cataumet, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at home after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Bill Reaman for 52 years. She was born in Stamford CT to the late Ralph and Esther (Sundkvist) Thompson of Cataumet. She graduated from Northfield School for Girls in 1960 and attended Vassar College and Boston University.
Karen worked as an office manager and a bank manager. She was a member of the Aero Club Albatross, a soaring club in New Jersey made up of glider pilots. She was a licensed glider pilot who owned her own plane in Blairstown NJ. Karen spoke fluent Spanish and Portuguese and for 28 years, enjoyed traveling the world with her husband on his IBM assignments.
In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by her son, Eric Reaman of Hingham, her daughter Jane Ovedovitz of Rockville Maryland, and her 3 grandchildren: Anna, Charlotte, and Victoria Reaman of Hingham.
