Lorraine (Shea) Morrison, 53, of Bourne, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. She was the wife of Michael S. Morrison.
Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of Henry Shea of Port Charlotte, FL and the late Beatrice (Durant) Shea. Raised in Acton, she graduated from Acton-Boxborough High School, Class of 1981.
Lorraine worked in the banking industry initially as a teller and eventually for BB&T, as customer relationship manager. After moving to Bourne 10 years ago, she worked for Cape Medical Supply and ADP Alarm Systems. She most recently operated her own business, Bourne To Be Wild Jams, featuring gift baskets of preserves she made. Lorraine also loved gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Michael; her son, Ryan Morrison of Bourne; her father, Henry; her brother, William Shea of Taunton; her sisters, Bernadette Strange of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Patricia Shea of Port Charlotte, FL.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 6 Rogers Ave., E. Wareham at 2 PM.
