Nicholas Noun, 80, of South Dennis entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Born in Boston, MA to the late Sotir and Fotine (Andon) Noun Nicholas grew up in the Dorchester section of Boston and lived in Walpole for 40 years before moving to his family home on the Cape in South Dennis.Before his retirement, Nicholas was Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Waltham Savings Bank where he worked for 30 years. He was Past President of Massachusetts Association of Savings Bank Auditors and Comptrollers. Nicholas was also very active in the community and served as Past President of Kiwanis and Past President of Waltham Boys & Girls Club. He was a Mason for over 50 years and was a Past Master of the Rabboni Lodge Masonic Temple in (Dorchester). Nicholas was a frequent guest lecturer on the topics of real estate and banking at Bentley University. He was also proud member of the Massachusetts National Guard where he served for 10 years attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. In his leisure Nicholas enjoyed boating, fishing and above all else spending time with his family and grandchildren.Nicholas is survived by the love of his life, Eva (Talabach) Noun having just celebrated 56 years of marriage; his loving daughters Debra (and husband Robert) Lyons of Wrentham, Pamela Noun (and partner Jason VanVoltenburg) of Keota, Iowa; Brenda (and husband Thomas) Ihley; his dear brother William (and wife Christine) Noun of Walpole; and adored grandchildren Nicholas, Nathaniel and Noah Ihley. He also leaves behind 2 nieces, a great-niece and several great nephews.Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home 729 Rt. 134 South Dennis, MA 02660.
