Piche, Paul Noel, 94, of Hyannis, passed away on April 3, 2016. Paul was born and raised in Southbridge to parents Philiza and Solange Piche. Paul was a proud member of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. Soon after his release from the military, Paul moved to the Cape and became a lifelong Cape Codder, residing in the same house since 1949. He was married to the love of his life, Lucy (Bastein) for well over 50 years. Paul enjoyed many years as a volunteer fire fighter in the town of Barnstable, was an avid tradesman in plumbing and heating, and was proud to serve all of the Barnstable schools with his heating services. In his retirement years, Paul's favorite pastime was fishing, chatting with his friends from the Barnstable Fire Dept. and spending time with his family. Paul leaves behind his three children: Paul Piche, Jr of Hyannis, Beatrice Saling and her husband Hal of Yarmouth Port, and Sandra Salo of Centerville. He also leaves his three siblings Betty, Gloria and Donald. He will be truly missed by his nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his wife Lucy as well as five siblings. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4-7 PM at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis, MA.
