Richard M. Goldman, 82, of Centerville, died at Cape Cod Hospital on March 22, 2016.
Born in Arlington, he was the son of the late Meyer and Catherine (McCormick) Goldman. A graduate of Woburn High School, he earned his Masters’ Degree from Boston University. Richard taught school in upstate New York and Bergen County, New Jersey. He was stationed in Germany serving as a medic during the Korean War. He enjoyed watching the Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox.
He is survived by his daughters, Marci and her husband Thomas Hansen of Marstons Mills, Rhonda and her husband Roger Lamb of Maryland, three grandchildren, Michael and his wife Alyssa, Jacqueline and Lauren Hansen. Also survived by his longtime companion Pat Pihl and his former wife Eleanor Milione. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Rhoades.
