Victoria “Vicki” Ornellas, our beloved mother passed away peacefully of natural causes on Wednesday morning January 20, 2016
Vicky was born in Boston on March 9, 1919 she was a loving wife to her deceased husband Joseph H. Ornellas for over 50 years.
She was a caring and nurturing mother to her surviving children, Joseph, Arlene and David, to her Grandchildren Jeff, Jennifer, Heidi, Joseph and her Great Grandchildren. .She was preceded in death by her sisters Aggie, Stella, Lilly, May, June and brothers George and Sam.
Vicki & Joseph raised their family in Holliston MA and lived there for over 50 years and she has regretted to her dying day having to abandon her precious garden which she lovingly loving maintained and received so much joy from.
Vicki was the most honest person you could ever meet don’t ask her for the truth if you didn’t want to hear it because her answers were direct and unfiltered. She refused to speak harshly about anyone and went out of her way to help everyone.
“Mom you will be missed but never forgotten as finally you and the love of your life are reunited”.
Our family greatly appreciates the thoughtful and caring way she was treated at the Eagle Pond Nursing home in Dennis, MA and the VNA Adult Day Health Center as well as aides Laura, Chloe and Sheryl. We can never thank you enough.
A service will be held at 12:30pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Morris O’Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, MA 02664. Vicky will be buried aside her husband who she loved so dearly at 2:30pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA
