Domestic disturbance ends in attempted murder charge; Three OUIs plus Harwich man charged with 2nd OUI, Falmouth man charged with 3rd
Falmouth police activity for 6/30/14 to 7/14/14.

During the two week period of Monday, June 30, 2014 to Monday, July 14, 2014, the officers of the Falmouth Police Department responded to 1,580 calls for service. Details for 7/2-7/3 and 7/8-7/9 were not available.

Over the course of the two weeks, there were 14 domestic disturbances resulting in two arrests. There were 32 disorderly disturbances (1 arrest, 2 protective custody), 11 assault and battery reports, one report of harassment, 4 threats, 1 sex offenses call and 1 SOR. Four restraining order violations were reported, there were 8 restraining order services and 3 harassment order services. Officer were called in to preserve the peace on 12 occasions.

There were 24 reports of larceny, 2 reported robberies, 2 reports of identity fraud/theft, 15 residential break-ins (7 arrests), 11 motor vehicle/trailer break-ins, 2 commercial break-ins and 1 boat B&E. There were 8 reports of shoplifting (1 arrest).

Vandalism was reported on 19 occasions, there were 5 trespass calls, 16 suspicious person calls (one arrest, one protective custody), 23 suspicious vehicles and 108 sounding alarms. Officers assisted citizens on 45 occasions (one protective custody), the Falmouth Fire Department on 9 occasions and other police agencies on 5 occasions.

Officers responded to 4 overdoses, one of which reportedly occurred at the Walmart. There were three unattended deaths, 3 Section 12 calls (mental illness), 3 suicide attempts, 6 medical emergencies and 35 welfare checks (one protective custody, 2 arrests). Nine people were reported missing. There were 11 intoxicated persons reported (3 taken into protective custody) and 7 unwanted guests (one protective custody).

There was one report of a sinking boat, one report of gunshots, 2 reports of illegal dumping, 22 animal complaints, 2 annoying phone calls, 3 reported drug law violations, 2 underage liquor law violations and one fire. Officer responded to 40 noise complaints and 28 complaints about fireworks.

One hundred and ten motorists were pulled over and 7 were issued citations. Three people were arrested during motor vehicle stops. There were 121 other motor-vehicle related calls including disabled vehicles, parking violations, speeding, traffic concerns and the like. Of those calls there were 2 citations issued, 2 cars towed, one arrest and 28 parking tickets. Erratic drivers were reported on 18 occasions.

There were 28 arrests:

  • On Monday, July 14 at 12:20 a.m., Isaiah Bernard Fagan, 34, of 100 Blueberry Lane in Marstons Mills, was arrested during a check welfare call at Palmer Ave. and Jones Road on seven default warrants and one straight warrant.
  • On Sunday, July 13 at 12:58 p.m., Robert Edward Hudson Jr., 25, of 58 Lodengreen Drive in East Falmouth (last known address) was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway and charged with failure to stop for police, possession of a Class A substance, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker. There were also four outstanding arrest warrants against Hudson. He was arrested with Quinn Perry (see below).
  • On Sunday, July 13 at 12:58 p.m., Quinn Perry, 18, of 7 Sadler Road in Upton, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway and charged with possession of a Class A substance, possession of a Class B substance, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Perry was arrested with Robert Edward Hudson Jr. (see above).
  • On Sunday, July 13 at 1:02 a.m., Nolan R. Geary, 22, of 793 Blacksmith Shop Road in Falmouth, was arrested during a building/residence check on Scranton Ave. and charged with simple assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
  • On Saturday, July 12 at 8:45 p.m., Edward G. Steinberg, 75, of 7 Camelot Court in North Falmouth, was arrested during a disorderly disturbance call on Ter Heun Drive and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing.
  • On Saturday, July 12 at 2:50 p.m., Stephen M. Sanders, 25, of 50 Fordham Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during a domestic disturbance call at that address and charged with simple assault and battery and attempted murder.
  • On Thursday, July 10 at 9:02 p.m., Amanda Cardona, 24, of 25 Sheldon Street in Milton, was arrested during a disabled vehicle call on Penzance Road and charged with OUI-liquor, operating to endanger, trespass with motor vehicle and wantonly injuring real or personal property.
  • On Thursday, July 10 at 5:50 a.m., Brian Rose, 20, of 12 King Street, Apt. 4 in Falmouth, was arrested during a suspicious vehicle call on Maravista Street Ext. on two outstanding arrest warrants.
  • On Wednesday, July 9 at 11:35 p.m., Kurt Yenulevich, 49, homeless/Falmouth, was arrested during a residential break and entering call on Teaticket Highway and charged with trespass and breaking and entering for misdemeanor.
  • On Wednesday, July 9 at 2:22 p.m., Timothy W. Heywood, 55, of 73 Antone Ave. in East Falmouth, was arrested following a motor vehicle accident on Pine Valley Drive and charged with marked lanes violation and OUI-liquor.
  • On Wednesday, July 9 at 1:47 p.m., Fern E. Kady-Lopes, 25, of 35 Ashumet Road, Apt. 17C in Mashpee, during a warrant service on Main Street.
  • On Tuesday, July 8 at 2:59 a.m., Abdull-Malik Bartelle, 53, of 3 Boxwood Circle in Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. There was also an outstanding warrant against Bartelle.
  • On Monday, July 7 at 6:15 p.m., John Louis Lasnier, 19, of 25 Monmouth Circle in North Falmouth, was arrested following a motor vehicle crash on Old Main Road and charged with person under 21 transporting liquor and marked lanes violation.
  • On Monday, July 7 at 2:36 a.m., Antone Costa III, 50, of 584 Depot Street in Harwich, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Currier Road and charged with marked lanes violation, OUI-liquor (2nd offense), OUI-related offense while license suspended for an OUI-related offense, resisting arrest, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield.
  • On Saturday, July 5 at 2:20 a.m., Timothy J. Fitzgerald, 34, of 90 High Street, Apt. 208 in Dedham, was arrested during a breaking and entering commercial call and charged with malicious destruction of property over $250, breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and trespassing.
  • On Friday, July 4 at 9:09 p.m., William Guy Jennette, 42, of 79 Ennsbrook Drive in East Falmouth, was arrested during a breaking and entering residence call  on Sachem Drive and charged with breaking and entering for a misdemeanor, trespassing and malicious destruction of property under $250.
  • On Friday, July 4 at 8:16 p.m., Timothy W. Silvia, 46, of 49 Mary Rose Lane in East Falmouth, was arrested following a motor vehicle crash at North Falmouth Highway and Route 151 following a motor vehicle crash and charged with failure to yield at an intersection, operating to endanger and OUI-liquor (3rd offense).
  • On Friday, July 4 at 5:13 p.m., Samantha A. Farrell, 28, of 220 Ashley Boulevard, Apt. 2N in New Bedford, was arrested during a shoplifting call on Teaticket Highway and charged with shoplifting $100+ by asportation.
  • On Friday, July 4 at 4:18 p.m., Court J. Damon, 20, of 15B Breezy Way in Mashpee, was arrested following a motor vehicle crash on Davisville Road and charged with marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, OUI-drugs and possession of a Class E substance.
  • On Friday, July 4 at 4:56 a.m., Christopher T. Hanson, 26, of 51 Frankton Ave. in Brockton, was arrested during a breaking and entering residence call on Pamela Lane and charged with unarmed burglary and resisting arrest. Hanson was arrested with Linton Robinson and Yvonne Gonsalves (see below).
  • On Friday, July 4 at 4:56 a.m., Linton C. Robinson, 34, of 19 Reddy Ave. in Hyde Park was arrested during a breaking and entering residence call on Pamela Lane and charged with unarmed burglary and resisting arrest. Robinson was arrested with Christopher Hanson and Yvonne Gonsalves(see above and below).
  • On Friday, July 4 at 4:56 a.m., Yvonne Gonsalves, 30, of 51 Herrod Ave. in Brockton, was arrested during a breaking and entering residence call on Pamela Lane and charged with accessory before the fact.  Gonsalves, who also had two outstanding warrants, was arrested with Linton Robinson and Christopher Hanson (see above).
  • On Thursday, July 3 at 5:24 p.m., John Peter Lynch, 28, of 57 Kerrywood Drive in East Falmouth, was arrested during a welfare check on Davis Straits and charged with possession of a Class A substance and receiving stolen property +$250.
  • On Thursday, July 3 at 1:21 p.m., Michael Anthony Geggatt, 23, homeless/Falmouth, was arrested during a breaking and entering residence call on Gifford Street and charged with breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a felony. He was arrested with Kellen Wessling (see below).
  • On Thursday, July 3 at 1:21 p.m., Kellen A. Wessling, 37, homeless/Falmouth, was arrested during a breaking and entering residence call on Gifford Street and charged with breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a felony and larceny from a building. He was arrested with Michael Anthony Geggatt (see above).
  • On Wednesday, July 2 at 2:21 a.m., John Dias III, 48, of 856 Teaticket Highway in Falmouth, was arrested during a suspicious person call at Saint Annes Lane and Teaticket Highway and charged with possession of a Class B substance.
  • On Tuesday, July 1 at 8:46 p.m., Susan Cecelia Hass, 56, of 598 Boxberry Hill Road in East Falmouth, was arrested at that address during a domestic disturbance and charged with simple assault and battery and resisting arrest.
