Yarmouth Community Preservation public hearing set for October 21

Ideas and input wanted for community projects

The Yarmouth Community Preservation Committee will host a public hearing on Wednesday, October 21 at 6 p.m. at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. Residents are encouraged to attend this important community meeting.

There is approximately $4 million in Community Preservation Act funds available for eligible projects for FY16. The committee accepted grant applications until September 14.

The agenda for the hearing includes reviews of projects around town, FY16 grant applications received, accomplishments to date, approved Community Preservation Act projects and the Community Preservation Plan.

Attendees are encouraged to share their ideas about improving the Town of Yarmouth through community housing, historic, open space and recreation projects.

Appetizers and beverages will be served. The hearing location s handicapped accessible.
