Orleans Rocks! is the theme of the 2019 Orleans 4th of July Parade.  The theme was created by Cody Stratton, 5th grade Orleans Elementary School student, who will ride in the parade.  Also, joining the procession is former Selectman, Board Chair, and Parade Committee liaison Alan McClennan, the Parade Grand Marshal.

The 4th of July parade steps off on Thursday, July 4th at 10:00 AM from Eldredge Park Way. The celebration continues on Saturday, July 6th with fireworks over Rock Harbor at dusk, weather permitting.  The rain date for the fireworks is Sunday, July 7th.  Viewers are asked to be aware of traffic patterns and parking which is at a premium for both events.

The Orleans Fireworks are supported solely by the private fundraising efforts of the non-profit Friends of the 4th of July.  A contribution, specifically designated for the fireworks, can be sent to: The Friends of the 4th of July, PO Box 242, East Orleans, MA 02643.

The 4th Committee appreciates that voters at Town Meeting appropriated funds to support the 2019 parade. The Committee is looking forward to new and returning parade entries, bands, families and antique cars. To enter the parade or learn more, visit www.orleans4thofjuly.com.

Come and join the fun!
