..STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT ACROSS MUCH OF MASSACHUSETTS, RHODE ISLAND AND NORTHERN
CONNECTICUT...

Two rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon and tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will develop this
afternoon across northern Connecticut into western and central
Massachusetts, mainly from mid afternoon onward. A few storms may
produce strong to damaging winds and torrential downpours with
localized urban/street flooding possible. There is the potential
for a few rotating storms thus a very low risk of an isolated
tornado.

Another round of thunderstorms is possible this evening and
overnight across Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts with a few
strong storms possible.
