Police Investigating Apparent Homicide in Hyannis

Reports from the scene indicate possible stabbing...

Hyannis, MA - "This afternoon Barnstable Police and State Police detectives assigned to the Cape & Islands District Attorney's office responded to a scene on Yarmouth Road in Hyannis and are presently investigating an apparent homicide."  These words contained in a statement from Assistant District Attorney Tara Miltimore of the Cape & Islands District Attorney's Office.

Reports from the scene indicate a reported stabbing in the vicinity of JJ Auto Service and Towing.  Multiple police and SWAT units responded to the scene.  Yarmouth Road was closed between Camp Street and Route 28.  Both off-ramps for Exit 7 were reported closed by the police perimeter.
