Wareham Cops Use Ladder to Confirm Presence of Two Wanted Women

On Wednesday, November 13, at 3:00 p.m., members of the Wareham Police Detective Division went to 227 Charge Pond Road to serve arrest warrants. The detectives were specifically looking for Julie Bergeron (45), with three warrants, Samantha Bergeron (26), with two warrants, and Briana Raponi (33), with one warrant.  Believing at least two of the women were hiding in the house, the detectives used a ladder confirming their presence. Julie and Samantha Bergeron were then placed in custody without incident.  

They were held at police headquarters and appeared in Wareham District Court on Thursday morning.

On Thursday, at 6:55 a.m., Officer Scott Cowan arrested Cedric Andrews II (38), of East Falmouth at address on High Street for an active warrant.

Later, at 11:14 a.m. Officer Cowan went to Walmart to investigate a shoplifting incident in which three people had already fled the area. Officer Cowan identified two Wareham residents and an Easton resident as suspects. The three will be summoned to court for shoplifting.

Finally, at 3:34 p.m. Officer Cowan arrested Briana Raponi (33), of 227 Charge Pond Road at Target for shoplifting and the active warrant.
