Hyannis, MA - Ryan’s Ten Pin Eatery announced the appointment of Marla Prentice as director of sales, overseeing the sales and promotion of Ten Pin’s corporate events, private parties and special functions.

Prentice brings nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Before joining Ten Pin, she worked in various roles for Catania Hospitality Group, including banquet manager for the Cape Codder Resort & Spa in Hyannis and sales manager and restaurant manager for John Carver Inn & Spa in Plymouth.

In her new role, Prentice will be responsible for promoting Ten Pin’s VIP Room, planning holiday and corporate parties, driving new business and spreading the word about Ten Pin’s party platters for private events, such as birthday parties and football gatherings.

“Marla’s superior knowledge of the local hospitality industry and team-player mentality makes her the perfect candidate for the position,” said Rob Nichols, President of Ten Pin Eatery/Ryan Family Amusements. “She is accustomed to working closely with clients to make sure all events are executed to the highest standards.”

“I am looking forward to working with a very supportive Ten Pin team to promote all of the outstanding activities at this modern venue, from the Escape Room and laser tag to the restaurant and cutting-edge bowling,” says Prentice. “I want people to know that Ten Pin is a place where kids and adults can have a fun and unique time. My goal is to get to know the local community and to create an unforgettable guest experience.”

Prentice, who raised four children in Plymouth, moved to Sandwich two years ago with her fiance.
