FALMOUTH-  State Representative Sarah Peake announced today her endorsement of Susan Moran for the Plymouth and Barnstable State Senate seat.  Emphasizing what Moran has accomplished regionally in Barnstable County and locally in Falmouth, Peake encouraged the voters of the Plymouth and Barnstable District to send Moran to Beacon Hill.

“Susan has been a fighter, finding solutions to the problems our region faces.  From climate change to infrastructure to water quality to economic development and tourism, Susan has been a strong voice and a leader bringing people together and working to find a path forward,” said Peake. “We have a tradition in this region of working together at the State House to get results. I know Susan will get those results for the people of the Plymouth and Barnstable District in the State Senate, and that is why I am proud to endorse her.”

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Representative Sarah Peake.  Representative Peake knows that the concerns residents have and the challenges we face aren’t divided by town boarders or bridges,” said Moran.  “The issues we face are the same on both sides of the bridge, and in order to solve these problems, we need to work together and fight for the people we represent.  I will be that fighter for the people of the Plymouth and Barnstable District.”

Susan Moran currently serves on the Falmouth Select Board and as the Falmouth Representative in the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates.
