A graduate of Avon High School and longtime resident of Bridgewater and Taunton, Joan was an exceptionally hard worker and touched many lives over the years through her employment at the Avon Town Hall, Bridgewater Savings Bank, Bridgewater Public Schools, Franklin Public Schools and most recently, Eversource (formerly NSTAR).
Joan was an amazingly loving and devoted mother who delighted in her kids and her grandson, and she was a dear friend to many. Joan was funny and beautiful, strong and independent; she loved the sunshine and the ocean; warm weather and birds, music and laughter. She had green eyes and a laugh that lit up the room. She was a beautiful dancer and a hot ticket. She took pride in her beautiful home and in her family and she will be forever missed.
