Chatham by the Sea Fundraising Raffle

The Friends of the Eldredge Public Library are sponsoring the fundraiser â??Chatham By the Seaâ? Raffle, the proceeds from which will directly support future library programs. Generous local vendors and individuals have donated one dozen amazing prizes. All prizes and their descriptions will be on display at the library during the three months the tickets will be on sale or you can glimpse them on the website.

The tickets will be available to purchase at the library and also outside the library on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. For more information, please call the or we urge you to stop by the library and see the wonderful prizes we have for such a worthy cause.

Raffle Prizes include the following plus nine more:

  • A Nantucket Lightship Basket Ice Bucket handcrafted by Chatham's Marcia Foresman, retail value: $1,000.
  • Golf for 3 at Eastward Ho! Includes lunch, 18 holes of golf and sunset drinks on the deck, retail value: "priceless".
  • Two night stay for 2 at the Chatham Wayside Inn, with breakfasts. Availability restrictions apply, retail value: $550.

Tickets are $10 each or three for $25 and will be sold during regular library hours.  During June, July and August, they will be available for sale outside the library from 5pm-7pm Friday nights and 10am-2pm on Saturdays.

Library note: Tickets are not available online but can be purchased by sending a check made out to Friends of Eldredge Public Library. Send checks to PO Box 70, Chatham MA 02633. Tell us which prize numbers you wish to take a chance on, and we will fill out your tickets for you. (One prize per ticket.) If you send us a self-addressed stamped envelope, we will send the ticket stubs to you. We will also need your phone number and address as of August 26 so we can notify you if you are a winner.

The drawing will be held on Friday, August 26th.
