Bicyclist injured in Bourne
BOURNE - A man was injured while riding his bicycle in Bourne shortly before 9 PM. The man was riding on County Road when he apparently either was hit be a vehicle or simply fell off the bike. Bourne Police are still investigating. Posted on 9/18 at 1:00 AM.

Hit & Run Rollover crash in Yarmouth
YARMOUTH - Yarmouth Police are investigating a hit & run rollover crash about 10 PM Sunday evening on West Yarmouth Road. Police arrived to find this Toyota 4runner on its roof and its driver injured. The driver was treated by EMTs and taken to CCH. Police quickly discovered a vehicle that had apparently become disabled from the crash just down the road. A K-9 dog began tracking a scent and quickly located 39-year old Andrea Haili of South Yarmouth under the deck of a nearby home. After reportedly failing a sobriety test she was booked on charges of OUI, leaving the scene of personal injury, leaving the scene of property damage, operating to endanger, failing to yield, operating unlicensed and on an outstanding warrant. She was due to be arraigned on Monday in Barnstable District Court. Traffic had to be detoured until the wreckage was cleared. Meanwhile, another man was also arrested for OUI after reportedly narrowly missing a Yarmouth Police officer directing traffic at another crash scene at Route 6A & Willow St. Ofc. David Schneeweis was directing traffic outside his marked cruiser with blue lights activated when a car driven by 44-year old Robin Stoddard allegedly sped past him before screeching to a halt. Ofc. Schneeweis had to jump up on the sidewalk to avoid being hit. Stoddard was arrested for OUI after reportedly becoming belligerent during sobriety tests. Three injured in Bourne crash
BOURNE
- Three people were injured in a crash in Bourne early Sunday afternoon. The crash happened on the Cranberry Highway (Route 6A) by the Mobil station. Rescuers from Bourne and Sandwich extricated the victims and took them to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries. Bourne Police are investigating the crash. Posted on 9/17 at 5:00 PM.
