Police called to break up fight at Hyannis nightclub

HYANNIS - Barnstable Police were called to Pufferbellies on Route 28 around 1 AM (closing time) Saturday morning after reports of a large fight. Details are sketchy but there are reports one person was slightly injured. Additional units from Yarmouth and the State Police were called as a large crowd reportedly developed. Its unclear what may have started the fight or if anyone was arrested but we hope to bring you further details as we get them from Barnstable Police. Posted on 12/16 at 8:00 AM. Fiery crash in Barnstable
BARNSTABLE
- One person was taken to Cape Cod Hospital after a reported fiery crash in Barnstable. The crash happened about 9 PM on Attucks Lane near the BJs Wholesale Club. The injuries do not appear serious. Barnstable Police are investigating the crash. Further details were not immediately available. Posted on 12/15 at 10:00 PM.

Pedestrian slightly injured in Orleans
ORLEANS
- A pedestrian was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle. Reports from the scene say the victim may have fallen out of the vehicle by the Federated Church at 162 Main Street about 5:20 PM. Further details were not immediately available. Posted on 12/15 at 10:00 PM. 

Cape firefighters cover during Plymouth fire
PLYMOUTH
-  Bourne firefighters were called to cover a Plymouth fire station during a fire at a restaurant.

The fire at Foppiano's Restaurant at 499 State Road broke out about 5 PM causing extensive damage.

Crash snarls commute on upper Cape
FALMOUTH
- A crash snarled the afternoon commute along Route 151 on the upper Cape Friday afternoon. The crash in the road also known as Nathan Ellis Highway at the intersection of Fordham Road happened about 5 PM. None of the injuries appear life threatening but reports say one person suffered an acute asthma attack after the crash and was rushed to a hospital. Falmouth Police are investigating the crash.
