Single-vehicle crash in Pocasset sends one to the hospital

POCASSET - A single-vehicle crash occurred near 331 Barlows Landing Road in Pocasset Friday afternoon. 

Firefighters transported one victim to Falmouth Hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.

YARMOUTH - During the period of Thursday, July 9, 8a.m. through Thursday, July 16, the men and women of theYarmouth Police Departmentresponded to 776 calls of which 39 resulted in arrests.  Among thosewere the following.

On Saturday, July 11 at 12:03 a.m., Stephen M. Fockler, of Rainbow Road in West Yarmouth, was arrested by Patrol Officer David Schneeweis during an unwanted guest call on a Warrant.  Fockler was also arrested 4 days later (see below) and earlier this year on April 11th for Felony Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

On Saturday, July 11 at 1:30 a.m., Chirstopher Riordan of Field Drive in Woodbridge, CT, was arrested by Patrol Office Erica Wenberg during a domestic violence call on Route 28 for Assault and Battery.

On Saturday, July 11 at 3:40 a.m., Lisa Lozada, of Washington Avenue in West Yarmouth, was arrested by Patrol Officer Christopher Marino during a vehicle stop on Pine Grove Road for OUI Liquor.

On Saturday, July 11 at 5:20 p.m., Bryan David Krysa, of Archie Road in Yarmouth Road was arrested by Patrol Officer Christopher Van Ness during a burglary call for Felony Breaking and Entering.

On Saturday, July 11 at 11:15 p.m., Christopher Norton, of North Main Street in South Yarmouth, was arrested by Patrol Officer Nicholas Pasquarosa during a domestic violence call at that address for Domestic Assault and Battery.

On Sunday, July 12 at 12:03 a.m., David Neal Trani, of Helmsman Drive in Yarmouth Port, was arrested by Patrol Sergeant Gerard Britt during a vehicle stop on Bayview Street for OUI Drugs. See the original report here.

On Sunday, July 12 at 12:56 a.m., Brian Leonard Maciel, of Pheasant Lane in Oak Bluffs, was arrested by Patrol Officer David Schneeweis during a vehicle stop on Route 28 for OUI Liquor. See the original report here.

On Sunday, July 12 at 2:38 a.m., Daniel Leszcynski, of Oak Glen Drive in Shelton, CT, was arrested by Patrol Sergeant Christopher McEachern during a vehicle stop on Buck Island Road for OUI Liquor.

On Monday, July 13 at 11:10 a.m., Christos J. Tsiareas, of Walton Avenue in Centerville, was arrested by Patrol Officer Brian Niezgoda during a motor vehicle crash on Route 28 on a Warrant.

On Monday, July 13 at 8:41 p.m., William J. Hennessy, of Juniper Road in West Dennis, was arrested by Patrol Officer Michael Zontini during a disturbance call on Route 28 on a Warrant.

On Tuesday, July 14 at 2:35 p.m., Frank Eli, of Route 28 in Yarmouth, was arrested by Patrol Officer David Schneeweis during a vehicle stop on Rotue 28 for Violation of a Protective Order.
NO IMAGEOn July 14 at 5:32 p.m., a 16-year-old male (juvenile), of West Yarmouth, was arrested by Lieutenant Steven G. Xiarhos during a domestic violence call on Old Townhouse Road for Domestic Assault and Battery.

On Tuesday, July 14 at 6 p.m., Wesley M. Jones, of Old Townhouse Road in West Yarmouth, was arrested by Patrol Investigator Christopher Kent during a drug raid at that address for Felony Trafficking Cocaine. See the original report here.

On Tuesday, July 14 at 10:21 p.m., Germain L. Jackson, of Fresh Holes Raod in Hyannis, was arrested by Patrol Officer Andrew O'Malley during a robbery call on Wendward Way for Felony Unarmed Robbery.

On Wednesay, July 15 at 1:15 a.m., Kara Lynn Doherty, of North Main Street in Yarmouth, was arrested by Patrol Officer Mary Gibney during a domestic violence call at that address for Domestic Assault and Battery.

On Wednesday July 15 at 3:20 p.m., Jose Paula Valdez, of Upper County Road in Dennis, was arrested by Patrol Officer Raymond Scichilone during a domestic violence call on Wilfin Road for Domestic Assault and Battery.

On Wednesday July 15 at 8:40 p.m., Stephen M. Fockler, of Rainbow Road in West Yarmouth, was arrested (2nd time this week, see above) by Patrol Officer Erica Wenberg during at vehicle stop on Route 28 on a Warrant. He was also arrested earlier this year on April 11th for Felony Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

On Thursday July 16 at 2:57 a.m., Justin J. Herring, of Hicks Way in Mashpee, was arrested by Patrol Officer Erica Wenberg during an armed robbery call on Route 28 for Felony Armed Robbery.

On Thursday July 16 at 3:17 a.m., Richard Orland Howerton, of Route 130 in Mashpee, was arrested by Patrol Officer Erica Wenberg during anarmed robbery call on Route 28 for Felony Armed Robbery.

On Thursday, July 16 at 1:43 a.m., Jeffrey Lewis, of Main Street in Dennis, was arrested by Patrol Officer Marc Thibeault during a disorderly person call on Old Main Street on a Warrant.

YARMOUTH - On Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. the Yarmouth Police Department will conduct a public auction of a wide-ranging variety of seized and surplus items at Yarmouth Police Headquarters located at One Brad Erickson Way in West Yarmouth.
