Police arrest Plymouth bank robbery suspect in Middleboro

Michael Guidetti, 32 from Plympton, faces multiple charges including robbery

PLYMOUTH - State Police Trooper captured a bank robbery suspect in a cornfield off of Route 105 in Middleboro, Massachusetts Friday afternoon, May 7, 2010, around 3:15 p.m. following a bank robbery and police chase which started in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

It is believed the suspect robbed the Bank of America on Court Street in Plymouth.

Police quickly spotted the vehicle believed to be used in the bank robbery and gave chase. The police chased reached speeds of 70 miles per hour through several towns before the suspect fled from the getaway car on foot in a cornfield in Middleboro.

The suspect reportedly threw money throughout the cornfield while being pursued according to an officer on the scene.
