Join a group of about 40 skiers/riders from the Cape for a fun-filled week of skiing or boarding at one of these great resorts all for a great price. The Cape Cod Ski Club has just announced its fly-trips for the 2011 season:
Prices are per person and include round-trip transportation from the Cape to Logan, airfare fuel surcharges, transportation to the ski area, lodging taxes, and gratuities. If this sounds intriguing, why not join the Cape Cod Ski Club today? Early bird membership in the club is only $39/year if you join by September 30 (a savings of $6), and is required for trip participation. And now you can join online on our website, www.capecodskiclub.com using your credit/debit card or Paypal account! It couldn’t be easier!
Details about what’s included in each trip including flight information, accommodations, payment schedule, and trip reservation forms can be found on the club’s website: www.capecodskiclub.com. The website provides a lot more information about the club.
The club also offers weekly day trips and numerous overnight trips to New England ski areas during the ski season. Most trips include bus transportation from the park-and ride lots in Harwich, Barnstable, Sagamore and Plymouth. No hassles, no driving and group discounts! The full trip schedule, including the overnight and day trips for this winter will be posted on the website in September. Generally the club runs day trips on Wednesdays and Sundays from early December to mid-March. Bring the kids on Sundays --- they don’t need to be members if accompanied by a member.
The Cape Cod Ski Club started over 30 years ago, and has grown to over 600 members. Don’t think you have to be an expert skier or boarder to join the ski club. By far, most of the members are intermediate skiers, who enjoy leisurely days on the slopes. So don’t be intimidated, if you haven’t skied in a while. You’ll be surprised at the improvements in ski equipment and snow-making conditions on the slopes.
The Club meets on the 3rd Monday of every month at 7:30 from September to March at the Radisson in Hyannis. Monthly meetings are primarily social events for the members to get together between trips, and to learn more about the trips offered. Guest speakers present information related to winter sports. The Club welcomes new members. Why not become one today? See you on the slopes!
