Dan Wolf for the State Senate

It's the Economy AND the Environment Stupid!
Dan Wolf is the collective conscience of Cape Cod

He does not tell us what he thinks we want to hear.
He says what he believes and acts accordingly.

With deference to Jim Carvel, Bill Clinton's mensch, it's never been just about the economy or the environment. On Cape Cod, it's always been about both.  Dan Wolf  understands that.

Cape Cod has derived its livelihood from these coastal waters and lands long before any of us got here.  More recently many of us derive our living from those who want a little piece of our heaven in the summer or find it a pleasant waiting room before they move onto heaven.  But with all people who want to be here, comes the spoiling of the thing they come here for, the environment.

But without both, we would have neither.

Dan Wolf recognized that early in his career and stayed on Cape Cod. He started a business which caters to both those who want to visit here while providing jobs and livelihood to many who want to make Cape Cod their home.

But Dan also understood early that with each new footprint Cape Cod is changed.  And with too many footprints, those others would not continue to visit,  therefore jeopardizing the jobs and families that depend on them.

Dan approached the challenge before all of us in typical fashion; create balance

While encouraging growth in  the economy to provide work for the folks who live here, he also encourages the preservation of the very thing they come here for, the environment.

Dan is comfortable serving the likes of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and the Association for the Preservation of Cape Cod.  He is an advocate of the Cape Cod Commission's role in regulating growth, while also serving on the Cape Cod Economic Development Council.

He supports the work of the conservation trusts while advocating for renewable energy. He leads by example in installing the largest solar panel to date on Cape Cod and conviction by supporting the Cape Wind project.

He does not tell us what he thinks we want to hear.  He says what he believes and acts accordingly.  That is the kind of leadership we need in the State Senate. Dan Wolf serves as our collective conscience on Cape Cod.

That is why we wholeheartedly endorse Dan Wolf for State Senate in the Democratic primary.
