Chatham Police Department auction to be held Sunday

CHATHAM - The Chatham Police Department, pursuant to MGL Chap. 135 Sec. 8, will hold an auction of found and unclaimed property and evidence.  The items have no identifiable owners and have been held by the department for more than a year.

The auction features such items as appliances, household goods, bicycles, clothing and jewelry, electronic equipment, sporting goods and tools and will take place on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Viewing begins at 9 a.m.

This is a cash only sale. All items will be sold "as is".

The auction will be held at the rear of the Chatham Police Department at 127 Depot Road.
