One critically injured in a van versus car T -bone, another truck whacked

SANDWICH - One person was critically injured in a van versus car accident on Route 130 Wednesday (01-12-11) afternoon around 3:00 PM in Sandwich, Massachusetts.

It was snowing in the area at the time of the crash. Roadways were also very slick in the area as temperatures fell below freezing after being in the mid 30s throughout the day.

Police spent several hours reconstructing the accident scene. There is no word yet as to the cause of the crash or the exact extent of the victim's injuries. Sandwich police are investigating.

Pick-up Truck accident in snowbound Bourne

BOURNE - A firefighter examines a pick-up truck which crashed into a utility pole near 180 County Road in Bourne Wednesday (01-12-11) afternoon around 2:30 PM during the snow storm. There were no reported injuries in the crash. Temperatures plunged below freezing Wednesday afternoon after being in the mid 30s throughout the day. There were numerous crashes reported throughout the upper Cape.
