ARRAIGNMENTS

KAGIWADA, Tyler, 24, 85 West St., Middleboro; arraigned on a charge of possession of Class B drug, Percocet. According to the police report, Kagiwada was a passenger in a vehicle that Middleboro police stopped for crossing the yellow line on Center St. During the stop police observed in plain view a bud of marijuana in the vehicle. The Percocets were discovered during a search of the vehicle. Kagiwada was released on his own recognizance. Pre-trial conference is set for July 12.

GODBOUT, John, 26, 13 Grey St., Onset; Arraigned on the charge of receiving stolen property over $250. Bail was set at $100 for his appearance on June 6.

SNOW, Bradley W, 49, 190 Center St. Apt. 2, Middleboro, and PRETTI, Douglas, 32, 569 Wareham St., Middleboro; Both men arraigned on charges of larceny of a building stemming from the theft of two 30 packs of beer from Kurt’s Corner Store. Police made the ID from video surveillance footage. Police allege that Pretti walked out of the store with the beer without paying and Snow was the driver of the getaway car. Both men were released on personal recognizance for their appearance on July 12.

LEON, Joseph, 31, 280 Hillman St., New Bedford, and VIEIRA, Francisco, 41, also of 280 Hillman St., New Bedford were arraigned on a variety of charges stemming from a reported road rage incident on April 9 on Rt. 195 E in the Mattapoisett / Marion area.  Leon was arraigned on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, (motor vehicle), disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lane violation while Vieira was arraigned on assault, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Both men will be back in court on July 12 for pretrial conference.

DONOVAN, Edward, 40, 24 Cameron Ave., Taunton; arraigned on charges of OUI 2nd offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lane violation on May 24. Middleboro police responding to a report of an erratic driver allegedly observed Donovan’s vehicle cross the center line several times. Police, after administering field sobriety tests determined that Donovan was operating under the influence of liquor and placed him under arrest.

BELLORA, Matthew, 19, 17 Prospect St., Middleboro; arraigned on two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (metal table leg and a knife) stemming from an incident at the Chamberlain School, 17 Prospect St., Middleboro on May 11. Police responded to a call from staff stating that several youths were ganging up on one youth, and that the students were “out of control”. Bellora’s case was continued to July 12.

TILDEN, Samantha, 19, 130 Marion Rd., Mattapoisett; arraigned on charges of OUI, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct after allegedly leaving a party in the woods in the area of 776 Mill St. where police discovered a number of underage drinkers. Tilden was released on her own recognizance to appear on July 12 for pretrial conference.
